Last night on Christmas Eve we went over to Caito's home to celebrate the holiday. Christmas Eve is a much bigger deal than the actual day of Christmas. Christmas Eve is when the big meal is served, the presents from Secret Santa are given along with presents from parents to children, and then its party time! Then in the a.m. Santa's presents are opened and enjoyed.
Secret Santa presents:
Kau'e had Isabelle and he gave her some glitter pens. Isabelle had me and she gave me some earrings to match a necklace I have along with chocolate and a coffee mug. Duda had Romulo and he got a Tio is the Best coffee mug along with chocolate. Romulo had Kau'e and he gave him a red ball. And I had Bia and I gave her a Disney Princess kit that had a paper castle in it along with two magazines full of Disney Princess' stuff.
We came home at 2am and tried to get some sleep. Little boy didn't fall asleep last night until a little after midnight! So we all slept in until 9:25am. Kau'e was still not fully aware of what the morning would bring. We got him ready to see the Christmas tree and see the presents Santa had left him.

Kau'e's eyes lite up when he saw the presents. Santa was nice enough to write a letter to Kau'e. Then Kau'e opened up his presents. He got a Monkey doll, a red truck, a dvd, and a book. Kau'e loved every single present he got. He took his time opening the present and then running his finger across every inch of his gift.
