The Colonies

After we visited the Saturday farmer's market we headed outside of Curitiba to the wine country, The Colonies. It was so beautiful to see the rows of grapes, drive on the cobblestone road, look at the beautiful trees, flowers, ponds, and so much more. The sky was so blue, the sun was shining, and the breeze was pleasant.

We stopped at one vineyard and tried their grape juice. Oh so yummy it was in its natural form. Afterwards we went to a "farmhouse" buffet lunch. The entrance of the restaurant was lined with sunflowers. Then where we parked there was a soccer field with the goals made out of wood; only in Brazil!
