Weekly Happenings: Learning and growing
The days and weeks fly by though each day is busy active full! Kau'e goes to school every day and needs to catch the bus at 7:09 am and doesn't come home until 12:30 pm. Yara and I are up and at them early and by 9:30 am we usually have worked out, showered, ate breakfast, and gone to and from the grocery store! So we are ready for a nap by the time Kau'e gets off the bus! The mornings can be fast and furious and a lot of Eat, Drink, Eat, Drink, Shoes, Bus, Run!!! But there are nice little moments when you look over and see your child playing with their food and before you can comment No Dont Do that, they say Look Mommy, A...and you see that their grapes are in the shape of the letter A. OH okay, I'll let you play with your food if it's educational! Or when you are trying to shove their hat on their head and you show them that it's their hat by the name I had written in it the day before and they look at you and say, "That's my name...K-A-U-E! Kau'e". Makes my heart leap and full of happiness! Yara is full of herself! She is a good girl and one who is learning and taking in the world around her! She loves horses and will take anything that looks like a horse or the actual horse toys she has and tries to ride it! Whenever she says the R in Horse its really emphasized! Chair is that way too! Last night when I was at my Pathway Gathering and Romulo was home trying to get the kids to bed, Yara kept coming out and saying she was cold! Oh the actor. She is always saying her hand or leg or foot hurts. She will color and say the letters or numbers she sees on the sheet. Or she will randomly sing the ABC or count! She is a smart girl! She is a little mommy helpers! Always helping me with random things around the house! Fun to have a daughter.
