E.R. Visit

Kau'e had his first E.R. visit today! Nothing major just wanting to make sure he was okay since he has been exposed to a lot of germs, outside VA air, and being away from home for a while. We got him checked out and he only has an upper respiratory infection so really meds wouldn't work but they did give him Amoxicillin due to flying later on this week and whatever other germs he will get exposed too (basically treating secondary stuff he might get). (Kau'e was weighed: 25.8lbs.)



Kau'e has been cutting more teeth: two upper with one already came thru with the other peeking. At nights Kau'e will not sleep on his own. He will sleep for an hour or two and then wake up screaming but the second we pick him up and put him in our arms and lay down he's OUT! So for the past few nights I have slept with him in my arms laying beside me. (He used to only be able to sleep on my chest when he was very little. So thank goodness he likes to sleep in other positions because having a 25.8lbs baby on your chest probably wouldn't be the easiest thing ever!)
