We went to Chinatown, ate some Dim Sim while we were there, Fisherman's Wharf, ate some Clam Chowder too, walked from Fisherman's Wharf or Pier 39 to the Embarcadero and or Finanical District. We road a Cable Car from Powell to Fisherman's Wharf, saw some pretty interesting people dressed up trying to earn a dollar or two. (Got to love them.) Drove down Lombard Street, looked at the Painted Ladies near Alamo Square, drove through Haight/Ashbury and remember the '60s, and walked through parts of Golden Gate Park (walked the Japanese Tea Gardens). We also walked around the downtown Mall, walked the Walnut Creek outside Mall, visited the Marina, drove to El Camino Del Mar drive so we could over look the Golden Gate Bridge and closer too.
I guess I could sum it up and say If you think of a place in SF we did that!!! The weather was to die for, no cloud in the sky, no fog, no wind...very pleasant all three days. We lucked out.
